Lolo Jones, who is the champion of the USA and World hurdles, has earned the status he has achieved after years of hard work and incredible patience. Jones had the most difficult of lives being the daughter of an unwed mother with five children. Her mother and she lived at a basement church and was always moving around. Jones was required to relocate into a new school each year up until her senior year due to this sporadic lifestyle. When she attended Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones lived apart from her mother in order to pursue her interest in track events. Jones lived in four distinct houses during her years of high school, so she could complete her studies at one time. Jones also played cello in the school orchestra. While at school, she was awarded the Gatorade Athlete Of The Year Award for the Iowa Track & Field. Jones was among the best hurdlers in her age group when she first entered college. Jones was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also an athlete which placed second in the 100 meter relay. Jones is the NCAA Champion in indoor hurdles in both 2003 and 2014. Jones started her track career in 2005 when she finished her university studies. Jones was the winner of Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden track events in the next year.

Brandt moved to Auckland, New Zealand after moving from Cape Town South Africa in the latter part of her the adolescent years. Brandt, found by local casting agents and was cast in the character of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Working with producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' breakout starlets. Mazikeen appeared as the Vertigo/DC comics fan favorite Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer show, which lasted for six seasons. Forbes named Lucifer the most binged-out show in 2021. Brandt will be next seen with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira along with other Walking Dead cast members in the six episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born 2nd December in Cape Town, South Africa. She is a New Zealand actress with a great talents. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After just a couple of years being employed in the retail industry, she was promoted to the position of IT manager consultant. After a few modelling projects, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008, she finished her acting major and further trained in Meisner ways of learning. Lesley Brandt's first notable performance was in the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television show Shortland Street as a support actor. Then she was in the Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was depicted in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
